2CVGB - The Deux Chevaux Club of Great Britain
The UK club for fans of all Citrone A-Series models
Formed in 1978, 2CVGB is the club for owners and enthusiasts of Citroen’s A-series vehicles including the 2CV, Dyane, Ami, Mehari, Bijou and kit cars based on 2CV running gear. We’re one of the largest Citroen owners clubs in the world and currently have over 2000 members in the UK and more around the globe. We publish a monthly magazine and each year we hold 2 national events and have previously hosted the World Meeting of 2CV Friends. We have a network of around 60 local groups who organise local meetings and events. We exist to have fun and to share friendships, knowledge and technical expertise and come together to appreciate these fantastic cars and help to keep them alive
Local groups are the heart of 2CVGB
2CVGB is the UK National Club, forming an umbrella organisation for over 50 local groups, all founded and run by enthusiasts across the UK. Your local group is an excellent way to find out what we’re all about. Most local groups meet once a month in a pub somewhere, and always enjoy meeting new people for a good chinwag. You do not need to be a member of 2CVGB to go along to your local group. You can find your nearest local group and contact details on our interactive map. It’s always a good idea to check with the local contact before heading along, as many groups organise events and convoys on their club nights, and might not always be meeting at their regular venue – especially at Christmas and during the Summer.
2CVing in action!
2CVGB is all about the pleasure of being out-and-about in your A-Series vehicle. There’s a really lively social scene, with local clubs organising weekend camps and ‘raids’ to interesting places. One event that has become a 2CVing tradition is ‘Raid Tan Hill’, which braves the snowy conditions every January to go for a pint in Britain’s highest pub. Whether you’re into muddy fun 2CV 4×4 off-roading, long road trips to foreign countries in extreme conditions, or 2CV 24 hour endurance racing, you can find like-minded people amongst our members who have been there and done that – and will be happy to tell the tale over a pint or two. As well as events organised by the local groups, 2CVGB itself organises two major annual social events: The National Meeting and Registers’ Day. 2CVGB also organises an exhibition stand at the Classic Car Show (Birmingham NEC) every Autumn as well as at other events during the year.

Jonathan Holmes has been servicing my 2CVs for a number of years now and whatever the issue might be, from MoT prep, through to a complete rebuild, I've never known anyone better equipped to sort it out. His advice is always good and he has an excellent reputation amongst the enthusiast base.
if you are looking to purchase a 2CV Jonathan may have one for sale or know who is wanting to sell.
The number of 2CVs that are based in North Derbyshire, South Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire is surely influenced by our proximity to Wirksworth. I have seen one of his customers come from France to have work done on their car. It's always a 5 star rating from me.
